 Welcome Minimize

Formed in early 2001, the Colorado Young Sinfonia was created with the simple idea of gathering promising and talented young string players together to make music at a high level. The players are hand picked and/or nominated, and through this process and the player's hard work, the Sinfonia has quickly gained recognition as one of the top ensembles for young musicians in the area. Over the past four years, the Sinfonia has presented over thirty concerts or varied repertoire to enthusiastic audiences. The Sinfonia continues in its mission of presenting excellent performances of diverse musical works and sharing together in the passion and creativity of music making.

The Colorado Young Sinfonia is directed by Basil Vendryes.
